Piece for Candle, Gloves and Photocells

This piece evolved from experiments with different sensors and premiered on march 29th 2008 in the course of the symposium "Klang (ohne) Körper" at the Bern University of Arts.

I constructed an instrument out of five photocells wich are arranged horizontally on a plexiglass board. Several sound parameters react to the intensity of light and thereby activate and modulate the sound. I play the photocells with small torches attached to special gloves.
